with BootROM).
You Get Software for the card, install that on the server.
This client supports windows NT (TSE 4.0), Win2kS, and
Win 2003 also.

Just install the client software on the server, and the
node boots up.
No need to make any client side configuration, its all
plug-n-play, the client will detect all the hardware and
install it accordingly.

the server side. (like Monitor Display, mouse type, printer
on node, FDD on node, CDROM on node)

You get P-4 performance on an old P-1 machine with 32
mb ram.
Since lot of caching is done on the server side, if more
than 1 users request for same application, the response
time decreases (i.e. the application run fast).

User cannot change/manipulate node configuration files
from the node. So, you get perfectly stable and reliable
nodes, which can work for years without having any problems.
If there is any problem on the node, just restart the
node and it should start working properly.
In the worst scenario you will have to re-install the
client software, and the node will start working normally.

the software or add no. of users or if your work load increases,
you will only need to upgrade the server and not the nodes.
Lots of Man Hours are saved because down time is very
low or nil. In conventional PCs, if the operating system
crashes, you have to wait till full O/S is installed, all
application software are installed, everything is configured
& connected properly. Then only you can use the PC.
However in ThinClient it may few minutes to reload the nodes.
Even if the server is down, restore the server configuration
and full setup will restart quickly.
